Daily Flow Workshop

SO, why am I offering this you ask?

After taking over the flow practice from one of my teachers, I discovered that, to me, there were a few key components missing from the practice. The practice was something that was already pretty spectacular, but also had the potential to transform it into something that was even more spectacular, impactful and transformative.

Before I get to those missing components I want to speak to a couple of the things I saw that were getting in the way and limiting your growth.

1.) Most of you were only accessing the para-sympathetic expression of your nervous system (responsible for REST, DIGEST, and HEAL) when you were in my office. 

2.) We were all operating under a type of mindset that I feel is very damaging in our culture. It’s the hierarchy of a doctor-patient relationship where you NEEDED ME to help you feel better RATHER than feeling empowered to access this energy and outcome on your own. 

3.) With this relationship, usually comes an unspoken agreement that I have something you don’t have and don’t know how to give yourself so you pay me for it.

4.) We weren’t doing anything to lock in the improvements you were getting during the sessions by teaching you how to hold those new releases, openings, deeper breaths and shifts inside yourself via your posture. 

Which is CRAZY!!! Because it is the vary act of putting those changes into a new posture (how you hold yourself, stand, breathe, and walk) is where the long-term benefit of the practices lies and what we were COMPLETELY MISSING OUT ON!!

Let me be the first to apologize to you! Not for any maliciousness or deception. But for simply not realizing and/or offering you the most crucial step of any bodywork, coaching, exercise, mindset, diet, program.

INTEGRATION! Integration is where we take the new thing being experienced or practiced and teach the body to make it behavior which allows it to become routine. 

I was letting you walk out that door and LITERALLY walk, sit and breath your way right back into the very habits and patterns you walked in with.

THIS CLASS IS MY RESPONSE TO THAT. 

It’s ME giving YOU the tools you need to radically transform your life on a daily basis. 

THEN, should you choose to come see me for Flow, we’re able to do really deep and profound work because A.) your body is already prepped and primed for the session. And B.) Because you know how to integrate the days session during the time we were apart. Which allows you to build over time instead of me acting more like an eraser or reset button.

It’s all available to you via this short daily routine. (**Bonus if you’re a meditator or enjoy being active as this practice will also prepare your nervous system for these activities as well.) 

What is the “Daily Flow” practice?

The daily flow practice is a seated, self administered variation of a Flow session. It can be done in as little as 3 minutes or all the way up to 30, depending on the amount of time and space with which you desire to engage the practice. It utilizes two key area of flow: The first being the soft area around C1 in between the base of the skull and the C2 vertebrae. The second being the triangle shaped bone at the base of your spine know as the Sacrum.

These areas are important because they are the most neurologically available (easiest access with most impact) access point in the spine.

In our ancient wisdom traditions of Kundalini Yoga and Buddhism, these two spots are known as passageways for connecting to the universal body known as “soma” and also for holding the vital and transformative energy known as kundalini. This energy can be unlocked and moved through the system to stimulate the fullest express of our beings in body, mind and soul.

It is this energy and in these spots that I’ll teach you to connect with and then move through your system. The results are almost identical to a Flow session but in less time and without the need for a practitioner to deliver the input.

With that all said, I’d like to share with you some of the benefits that you’ll be able to achieve with this simple “Daily Flow” practice.

Benefits of the “Daily Flow” practice:

Along with this routine, I’ll be teaching a very basic posture practice called “Activated Ease” that allows you to “tone” or “strengthen” the nerves and fascial patterns that are most conducive to have a strong healthy spine and posture. This simple addition is an extra 5-10 minutes but is worth it’s weight in gold for the time investment. 

“Activated Ease”

Activated Ease is a very simple and very easy practice that is done primarily lying on your back, with one standing move done at the end. It consists of twelve very easy to learn and do steps, that are designed to activate the nerves and fascial patterns most responsible for a healthy standing posture.

This practice “turns your body on” in a functional and structural way that leaves you feeling aligned, relaxed, powerful and capable in your body and it’s abilities.

Activated Ease requires very little effort or ability to practice yet the results are outstanding. It can be done in as little as 5 minutes and up to 25 minutes depending on how slowly you choose to move within each pose.

Benefits of “Activated Ease” include:

  • Improved depth, rate and ease of breath

  • Greater Range of motion

  • Decreased Pain

  • Improved function

  • Decreased susceptibility to stress and overwhelm

  • Decreased susceptibility to illness

  • And many more!!


Workshop Details

This workshop will be 2 hours in length and will be focused on:

  • Teaching

  • Modeling

  • Instructing and

  • Practicing the techniques.


You will leave the workshop with:

  • A clear understanding of the practices

  • A firm understanding of how to do them and

  • An understanding of why each is useful and beneficial for you to practice.


Class will be held at Wyld Roots in Shawnee from 12-2pm on:

Saturday April 2nd & Saturday April 9th
